As a woman, I was required to wear make-up and nail polish at my previous employer. My male colleagues did not have this obligation.
This made me feel oppressed; my employer had power over how I looked. Talking to the employer did not work, they did not respond to my frustration.
I would like equal treatment in the workplace. My appearance says nothing about my qualities and skills.
